Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor and Level 4 Retrofit Assessor Combined Course

This is your opportunity to become a TrustMark accredited Retrofit Assessor – even if you have no prior experience.

 

The programme includes the two courses that you will need to become a fully-fledged Retrofit Assessor.

 

You will first study towards the Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) qualification. You will learn how to assess the energy efficiency of a residential property and to issue Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs).

 

Once you have completed this course, you will move on to the Level 4 Retrofit Assessor qualification. This will help you to understand retrofit and the process of conducting a Retrofit Assessment, using the best practice method outlined in the upcoming British Standard BS 40104.  

 

Upon completing the course, you will receive 12 months Professional Membership & TrustMark Accreditation with The Retrofit Academy, along with support into employment through our Work Placement programme, all at no extra cost.

Level 4 Retrofit Assessor Course

The Level 4 Award in Domestic Retrofit Assessment is designed for existing Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs), providing all the retrofit knowledge and skills required by British Standard PAS 2035 to conduct in-depth Retrofit Assessments.

 

The course has been specially developed by The Retrofit Academy in conjunction with Professor Richard Fitton, who is leading on the upcoming standard for Retrofit Assessment BS 40104.  

 

This role is essential for helping homeowners, landlords, and residents make choices that reduce their carbon footprints, lower energy costs, and make their homes more sustainable.

Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management
