Our 2026 Retrofit Academy Awards finalists have been announced! Huge congratulations to all our finalists! Your work is shaping the future of sustainable homes and stronger communities.

We were blown away by the response this year, with over 100 entries from 70 companies. Our judges faced the challenging task of selecting the very best, and the shortlist showcases outstanding individuals and companies, innovative products, and impactful partnerships from across the sector. Our winners will be crowned during an informal drinks reception on Tuesday 12 May 2026 at Futurebuild.

Designed with the Sector in Mind

Earlier this year, feedback was gathered from Retrofit Academy members on the future format of the Awards. The message was clear: the event should remain inclusive, informal, and accessible.

While a formal sit-down dinner was considered, it became evident that such a format could create barriers for smaller organisations and local authorities – stakeholders that play a vital role in delivering retrofit at scale. In response, the 2026 ceremony will continue as an informal drinks reception, hosted by a high-profile presenter. This ensures the event remains open and welcoming to all, while retaining the prestige and celebration of sector-leading achievement.
